At Le Petit Velo Cafe, we embrace our Belgian roots to create fresh, homemade, Belgian inspired waffles, tasty toasted croques alongside British classics.
Proud to serve locally roasted coffee from Small Batch Coffee Roasters as well as herbal teas, speciality drinks and a range of wines and Belgian Beers.

Our Story
Le Petit Vélo is more than a café. Inspired by Belgium’s café culture and our love of cycling, we’ve created a warm, welcoming space where good food, great coffee, and community come together.
Whether you’re here for breakfast, a light lunch, or one of our evening events, you’ll always find a friendly face and something delicious on the table.
We aim to blend the best of British with traditional Belgian recipes to give something a little different. From our savoury sandwiches to our sweet waffles, we strive to offer a little taste of Belgium, served with a lot of heart.
Speciality Coffee
We use Small Batch Goldstone as our house blend.
Small Batch Coffee is one of the pioneers of speciality coffee in the UK, and Goldstone is a multi award winning coffee. This smooth and balanced blend brings notes of milk chocolate, hazelnut & berry to the cup, however you take it.
Freshly made food
We make our food to order, with a lot of heart, and aim to provide simple, satisfying, delicious food. With a mix of Belgian and British influences, whatever you choose, it will be fresh and delicious.

We’re more than just a café. From book clubs and craft nights to youth training programmes, Le Petit Vélo is a space where people come together. By supporting us, you’re helping us support the local community — creating opportunities, connections, and a place that feels like home.
